KANYE WEST HAS been hospitalised in Los Angeles after abruptly canceling the remainder of his US tour.
NBC News is reporting that the rapper was hospitalised after police responded to a medical welfare call yesterday afternoon, citing sources with knowledge of the situation. West was subsequently hospitalised for his own “health and safety”.
The New York Times spoke with one of West’s representatives, who confirmed that the rapper was hospitalised for “exhaustion” after his doctor made an emergency call to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A source told People Magazine that West “went freely” and is “currently dealing with sleep deprivation”.
He went to the hospital at will under the advice of his physician. He’s fine.

The hospitalisation comes on the heels of an eventful few days for the rapper.

On Thursday, the rapper told a San Jose audience, “I would’ve voted for Trump.” Two days later, he took aim at Beyoncé and Jay-Z during a concert in Sacramento, which was abruptly cut short after two or three songs.
On Sunday, he cancelled a scheduled a concert in Los Angeles and yesterday, it was confirmed that the remainder of his tour had been shelved.
Following the news of his hospitalisation, people have taken to Twitter to show their support for the rapper and wish him well.
